Sunday/Monday Posts - July 5th and 6th

The Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted by Kimba the Caffeinated Book Reviewer ~ It's a chance to share news~ A post to recap the past week on your blog, showcase books and things we have received and share news about what is coming up on our blog for the week ahead.

If you'd like to participate with The Sunday Salon, it is now a Facebook group.

It’s Monday! What Are You Reading is a meme hosted by Sheila at Book Journey. This is where we share what we read this past week, what we hope to read this week…. and anything in between! This is a great way to plan out your reading week and see what others are currently reading as well… you never know where that next “must read” book will come from!

I'm also linking to  Stacking The Shelves which is hosted by Team Tynga's Reviews.

Happy 4th of July weekend to all who are celebrating!  We're having lovely weather and I'm just relaxing at home.

My father is still in the hospital.  No change as far as his health is.

I scheduled way more blog tours in July than I thought I did.  Most are spotlights/giveaways and not reviews, so that makes it a little easier.  I really want to start concentrating and focusing on the books I have.  I need to start catching up on reviews and making my NetGalley and Edelweiss shelves easier to manage.  I know, I know...catching up will probably never happen.

Other than that...it's the same old stuff here.  I hope you all have a great reading week!

Yvonne

  4. Happy 4th of July! It does seem as if catching up is impossible, sigh. Dotty Dowager looks cute, looking forward to your review.

Enjoy the rest of the weekend!

  5. I'm curious about Agatha Raisin. I've heard of the books but don't really know much about them. Thanks for reminding me to check out more and see if I'd like to read this author.

  6. I'm not allowing myself to put in any requests for the moment either - at least until I catch up a little. Most of my hard copies are requested months in advance though so I can never remember what's arriving!

  7. Don't say you'll never catch up! I'm refusing to believe anything like that. One day we will all be fully caught up. Really it will happen! You got so many great books this week. The Hamilton looks great and I'm dying to read the new Shalvis. I have it but I've got a couple of other books I've got to read first. Hope your dad gets to feeling better and you're taking some time for your self. Have a great week!

  8. I has an "Oh No" moment when I had a couple of blitzes booked over a couple of days that I hadn't marked in my diary, thank goodness for the html most of them provide.

Hope you are having a good week!

Thank you for stopping by and visiting my blog! I always love reading comments and getting to know my readers!

After some careful consideration, I've decided to become an award-free blog. Although I appreciate and am honored by each and every award I've received, your comments and friendship are enough award for me. Thank you all so much for your thoughtfulness.
